As you all know, I am constantly looking for healthy ways to keep my youthfulness. Part of staying youthful is keeping your energy high and keeping your mental clarity.  As women it is hard to take the time to care for ourselves properly, to show ourselves love. Doing something that makes you feel good, feel beautiful and something that is actually healthy for you is a win-win. But, you need to make time for it. One of the best things that you can do for yourself is get out to a salon. I don't mean just any salon. Here in Utah, we have a salon that caters to women in a way that the factory-type settings (you know what I mean...non-personal,take a number, quick through, reuse, unsanitary) do not.  You have probably heard of them. LuLaRoe. They are knowing for their comfortable fashion that is also affordable and stylish. Maybe you have noticed some live promotions going on via Facebook. Maybe you have someone in your neighborhood who is a consultant. Either way, most females have heard of LuLaRoe and anyone who owns something from this company knows they love it.  Dinner last night was fantastic! I bottled green salsa from home grown green (unripened) tomatoes and jalapeños. So, we had to try it.  Time to finish grating the garden zucchini and putting it in quart freezer bags so that we have some for zucchini bread and for zucchini patties.  Art and fashion really go hand-in-hand. Artists creatively make patterns that are applied to fabric and that fabric is made into beautiful pieces of wearable art. How to work your wardrobe with this trend?  No. Geometry isn't just for school. You can find it in the hottest trends of Fall and Winter fashion. Like all other things this season, you can mix and match...or just mix.  You know what logos are and which companies are hot this season. But, did you know that wearing these companies' logos is a hot fashion trend? Wear them loud and proud.  Fashion:If you haven't heard, prints are in. Yep, anything goes here. Floral is in, as you have probably noticed. You can mix florals for a lot of beautiful conversation. Use accessories in floral for a pop with any outfit.  Mixing animal with floral is fun and interesting. Mixing camo with floral sure makes a statement. Mixing floral and polka dots actually works really well. Stripes with Damask...so pretty.  Tip: match color, not pattern. Don't be afraid to take a risk this season. Get creative. Take a look at these ideas I've created in the picture below. Notice that there is a correlating color, but that the prints are nicely mixed.  Get daring. Think outside of the box. Wear the clothes that you didn't think you could wear together. Have fun.  Above, I have a plaid shirt with a damask skirt and plaid shoes.
