Awesomeness is happening because of a ton of very hard work and diligence. 

I was interviewed by LookVine and featured in an article titled "Awesome Outfits You Need To Copy This Weekend".

Since not all of my interview answers were featured, here are the answers to their interview questions.

1. What is One Fashion rule you never break? 
I never break a personal fashion rule of wearing modest attire. I pride myself in wearing top of the line fashion styles, within the parameters of modesty. As you can tell, this is very important to me.

2. What interests you in Casual Wear? 
I love midi skirts. They are super cool (both literally and fashionably). I love to pair them with a cute tee and some yoga sandals, or with some athletic shoes. I also love flowy pants. Dang, there are so many cute casual clothes and shoes!

3. What styling advice would you give to your younger self?? 
I would tell myself to steer away from too many fad pieces. Stick with staples. I was a teen in the '80s and loved punk. I loved black...all black. I would tell myself to find pieces that can mix and match, and to accessorize. I think we all could give our younger selves styling advice. However, we all learn what we like by trying different styles. We all evolve. We find what we are comfortable and confident wearing. That becomes our style identity.

4. How would you describe a perfect Casual Wear look and is there a person who is an inspiration to you for this? 
I really have a planet full of inspiration with such a plethora of social media babes with amazing styling talent. There are so many people with awesome casual looks! I would say, my perfect casual look would be a pair of loose navy chinos, a navy and white striped top, navy flats and a yellow bag. The yellow bag would be the pop of unexpected color. I love the pop of color with a traditional outfit.

5. One tip you would like to give to our readers? 
You don't have to have a huge wardrobe or buy expensive items. You just need to have staples like navy pants, a black skirt, a white shirt, and those types of items. Once you have those, you can add pops of color through accessories and you can mix and match so that your wardrobe really seems much more broad than it is.

It’s been a Monday ...where I am struggling to climb out of a Lymie black hole.


Anyone who has had Lyme disease, or any other chronic condition, knows the amount of daily energy it takes to function.


It takes a thousand times that effort to function at the level I would like to function on a daily basis...superhuman level...and man do I try to be superhuman!


I am the most optimistic and motivated individual you will ever find...However, my body still likes to tell me otherwise, after years of being sick with late-stage Lyme.


So, today has been a day of going through the Monday movements and motions, knowing that the lulls are just my body telling me to slow down.


When I give advice on motivation and positive living, I know what I am talking about because I walk the walk. I do it each and every single day.


It’s all worth it! Life is amazing or I would not push so hard.

Sundays look about like this picture of my cat, Spike. I’ve been a bit Lymie over the past couple of days, so he hasn’t been so neglected. Snuggle city💗

We were not put here to be stuck in a rut. If we move forward, with a purpose, we will find that if we choose to live positive lives, we can leave behind any of the negative things that happen more easily. I have no idea if I am making sense since my family is trying to talk to me while I am blogging. Things never change😂

I love days when my family and I are all just hanging out. We love each other’s company and are literally usually all in the same room. We need a house that is a rambler with smaller bedrooms and a huge family space and kitchen. That would be so perfect for us. However, a note, we are very grateful for our home and for our time here.

Yesterday I wrote about not yet knowing where my husband and I were going to eat dinner. Well, it was delicious Olive Garden. I had Chicken Giardino, and had the delicious left overs for today’s lunch.

I love Olive Garden and always feel like I’m in a food coma when I leave. Ahhh, the breadsticks!

Yesterday’s outfit of the day was a beautiful and comfortable maxi dress by Tickled Teal. It’s modest and stylish. The fabric is flowy and comfortable. I love that it has pockets and that you could dress it up or wear athletic shoes with it and it looks gorgeous.

I am wearing a size large and it comes in small, medium, large and XL.

These are super popular right now at Tickled Teal and are going fast because they are so yummy. Plus, they look so great on all different body types.

This is my furry pal, sitting with me while I blog. I am so busy these days, but for most of his life I was really sick, so he is feeling a bit neglected right now. Thus, he has become a lap cat to get attention, which is sweet.

It’s around 4:45pm here in Utah and my hubby and I are trying to figure out where to go to dinner.
Should we go to Olive Garden? The Habit, Cafe Rio? What is your favorite restaurant?

Today has been a day of cleaning my office. You know, the room that is the catch all...the one you avoid. Yep, that is the one. We are really cleaning out all of the house because we would like to sell if we can. Therefore, it is cluttered and I am listing everything that is not tied down on the Facebook Marketplace. We have lived here for over 12 years now, and a lot of that time I was really sick with Late-Stage Lyme Disease so there are a lot of years to go through. Fun times. I love cleaning and getting rid of stuff. It's refreshing.

Last night, we were able to go up north, to Sandy and see my niece's new baby (and my niece, her hubby and their 2 year old:). So precious! He doesn't even scream when he cries. It's more like a little whimper. He is perfect. Their 2 year old is so adorable as well. What great parents! The visit was awesome! It's great to see the kids growing up and having kids of their own, and becoming such amazing parents. This niece is on my husband's side. It's his sister's daughter. All of the kids are growing up and becoming such amazing young adults! However, time just flies by too fast!

After the visit, we went to The Habit for dinner. We love that restaurant. It seems to be generally run really well, and the Super Food Salad is my favorite.

As you all know by now, I want my long hair back😉 and have not been shy about saying so. I have been using hair products that will help my hair grow and remain healthy. .

So it’s starting to rain, which is awesome! We need the rain so bad!

There is something about an approaching thunderstorm that looks ominous and hopeful at the same time.

As this storm was coming in, there was a huge amount of wind all of the sudden. For some reason, approaching ominous storms and huge amounts of sudden wind gives me anxiety. Anyone else feel this way?

This morning was beautiful! Birds chirping. Just a few white, fluffy clouds in the sky. Now? Not so much😉
Speaking of birds, there are what sounds like a bunch of baby birds in our gas fireplace vent....and they are some chatter boxes!

Now off to do some yoga, now that the electricity is back on. It went off a few times when the storm came in. I saw a ball of light streak across the sky above the houses in my neighborhood so I wonder if a transformer blew out or something. (Although, it did look a bit like a cloaked UFO;)

Today was so busy and started off perfectly.

I couldn’t sleep so I did my morning routine early. I got going on my morning walk. I did some scouting of photo locations, along with taking some photos. I did yoga. I worked.

​Man o man am I so glad that my butt is not in a car right now! We all have those days and I am grateful for transportation. There are just those days when you have a permanent butt print in the car seat 😂

My son and I ran some errands so we rewarded ourselves with some custard from Culver’s in Orem.

Oh I am so glad to be home and with my whole little family. They are my favorite people on the planet.
