This is seriously icing on the cake. First, I have introduced you to ibotta before, and it has great rewards. Use code lxybtmw and click here to start using ibotta. Shopkick is a great app that is quite different than the other two I already have. Use code GIFT732662 after you get the free app. Here's how it works. Go into stores. Scan barcodes of select products. Purchase with the linked card. Purchase and submit the receipt. OR Visit online stores. View online products. Purchase products. Watch videos. Get rewarded with gift cards once your points add up. Easy peezy. Receipt Hog is one of my favorites. It is so easy to use.
Shop anywhere. Buy anything. Take a good picture of your receipts. Win prizes by playing slots. Take surveys and get points. Redeem coins for gift cards. Easy. In fact, I am going to scan a receipt right now. Happy shopping. The other day, I "had" to find some booties that were brown and not black like my others. I just "needed" variety. Of course, I looked for bargains all over. I scoured the Internet. I loved many boots, but most of my favs were just out of the budget that I wanted to stay within. So, I went to Payless. Here's what I found and the deals that have made it so cheap. I just fell in love with the faux suede and the gored sides of these boots. They are simple and stylish. I didn't want to pay the $39.99 price tag, so I looked for offers. First up was the lowered price tag in the store, marked down to $19.99 Next, I got 30% off with an in-store coupon that I got up on my phone prior to going to the store. All that I had to do was search for coupons on the Payless site. Second, when I got home, I scanned the receipt on Ibotta and got 6% cash back, plus a $2 in-store rebate. Third, I scanned the receipt on Receipt Hog, and will earn coins for rewards there as well. I am working towards 1000 coins, which will pay out in $5 on PayPal or gift cards. Here's how the total winds up for these cutie patootie boots. (Yay me!, ChaChing!)
$39.99 Boots $19.99 In store price tag mark down -$6.00 30% coupon -$2.00 In-Store Scanned Receipt Rebate on Ibotta -$1.12 cash back on receipt scanned on Ibotta _______ $10.87 plus tax Ummm...once again cha ching!! Whoohoo! Happy dance! See what happens when you find deals and then stack em? That is nearly $30 that goes back into my household budget because I didn't spend it. Happy dance in my new boots:) Everyone talks about how awesome the economy is, and it is. However, even though there are less people out of work, inflation has gotten out of control while wages have not moved. How do you get some of YOUR money back in your wallet? Pay attention to my posts in this area, because I know what I am writing about. We went through years of unemployment and had to learn these tips just to get through those very lean times. I am going to give you a few more apps to help you get more of your own money back in your own wallet. Not only that, but show you how you can stack these apps to get even more money back. This first, let me introduce you to some more apps. Ibotta: Use code Ixybtmw or the link HERE and get a $10 bonus. Start with Ibotta and save more money on the things you buy every day! Receive your welcome bonus when you reach $10 in earnings. Check out the $2 In-Store and $3 Online bonuses for a great place to start! With Ibotta, you can scan receipts, link loyalty cards, and you can do mobile in-app purchases. Want cash back on groceries? This is the app for you. Check out the app to see if your regular stores are on it. It includes ALL of mine and that is why I use it. There are specific items that they offer, so it's like loading coupons on your loyalty card. Which, by-the-way, be sure to do that as well. REMEMBER: You can stack and save. Ibotta also has offers through Amazon, Kohl's & Groupon, among many, many others. How does it work? 1. Look on their app for offers, add them to your offer basket, 2. Go shopping for those items at any of the participating stores. 3. Take a photo of your receipt through the app. 4. Ibotta will match your scanned receipt to the offers you selected prior to shopping. 5. Within 48 hours, your cash back will be placed in your Ibotta account. 6. You can get paid via Venmo or PayPal. Alternate Method: 1. Link your loyalty card for any participating store. 2. Select items from offers on Ibotta before you go shopping. 3. Use your loyalty card or phone number when you shop. 4. Ibotta takes care of the rest...bam! Cash deposited into your Ibotta within 48 hours. Ibotta also offers in-app purchases. So there are many ways you can get some of your money back into your wallet. How can they pay me? These apps use your information and that is how they are able to pay you. They sell your information (i.e., shopping purchases) to market research companies. So they are essentially paying you for the market research you help provide. Let's look at using two apps with Ibotta. This will also be stacked with available coupons from whatever store you buy stuff from. First, use Ibotta. But also use these. Let's first add Ebates to the mix. Step 1: Get both Ebates and Ibotta apps.
Step 2: Link your information on both and link a credit card on Ebates so you can use Ebates in-store. Note: If using a debit card, remember to use the card as a credit...do not use your pin when you purchase in-store or the Ebates will not work.. Step 3: Find an in-store cash back offer that you like and link it to your card. Step 4: Pay with linked card in the store. Example: I need to buy Rubbermaid FreshWorks Countertop containers for my bananas, so they will stay fresh longer. I know that BedBath&Beyond is on both Ebates and Ibotta. I see that there is $3.00 back on Ibotta and I can get 2% cash back on Ebates, if I use the linked card. I also have a BedBath&Beyond coupon for 20% off one item. That is stacking three things right there. The large container is $24.99. You get $3.00 back from Ibotta. You get $.50 back on Ebates. You get $5.00 off with your 20% coupon. ____________ You pay $16.49, that's approximately 34% off, and we could continue stacking, but I will save that for the next post in this tab. You are going to want to get into this post so that you can get money back and promos on nearly all of your purchases. ChaChing!!! Did you know that there are a ton of apps that you can use to automatically get money back for your regular purchases? Yes! Money back and promo codes to save even more!!! I am a little excited to share this with you...just a little. The first app is Ebates. You can use this on any device. It will even detect if you are shopping in Chrome and will pop up to remind you to activate the money back before shopping. To get to this one, click on the picture or click here. Also as a note on Ebates, they have now offered up to 12% more by paying you through store gift cards. So, this last payment to me, I opted for a gift card to Bed Bath & Beyond. Pretty awesome, right!? App: yes Sign up bonus: $10 if you click here. Next on the list is BeFrugal.com. This portal is very similar to Ebates, but has a few differences, including a little bit higher % cash back, in some cases. With all of these savings portals and apps, be sure to pay attention to the fluctuation in cash back. That part of the savings is not static at all. Plus, you will have opportunity to garner bonus cash back with either of these portals. App: yes Sign up bonus: $10 if you click here. The last one for this post is TopCashback.com. This portal offers you cash back percentages like the other two I have mentioned. However, sometimes they offer even more amazing deals in their newsletter. Some of these are 100% off. Their interface is similar to Ebates and BeFrugal, so it will seem somewhat familiar if you have used the other two. TopCashback has a nice variety of stores with negotiated percentages of cash back, along with promos. App: Yes Sign up bonus: $10 if you click here. There are so many ways to save and to keep your expenses down. I will be sharing more of these in future posts. For now, while you do your holiday shopping, don't forget to incorporate these sites that I have shown so that you will get the best deals, as well as rewards for using them. Happy shopping.
