I don't know about you, but I am not a cold weather person...especially the cold weather with inversion. The dark months from December through February offer an opportunity that you don't get during the other times of year. You can stay in and binge on Netflix and Hulu, or you can binge on working on yourself.
If you're in the right state of mind, you should not need to wait until January 1, 2019 (or any year) to work on yourself. You should always be a work in progress. For me, I want to be able to crack out of my cocoon in Spring, and fly like a butterfly, feeling confident and free.
As part of that journey, I have already mentioned that my planner for 2019 from Inkwell Press has pages that I am utilizing to evaluate this past year so that I can start my new year with a fresh perspective (having worked my tail off in 2018).
I am also religiously using my iCalendar to keep track of which days I do yoga and which days I do my hard cardio with weights. This will help me stay on track with my body health, as well as my mental health.
Another part of my personal road to transformation is Fit Life Creation (by the way, you get 10% off if you use the code SIMPLY). I've just begun the creation club and I am already beginning to feel it. The change in mental state is real. When you start to evaluate yourself on a deep level, you really start to gain awareness of changes that need to be made, talents you have, and things you love. Now, I cannot wait to turn all of these things into profit.
How do you feel when you start to get inspiration? Do you take action?
I am an action taker. My life has turned from being sick with late-stage Lyme disease, to being an active contributor in all areas of my life. Sure, I will always be a work in progress. We all are works in progress. Sometimes, taking courses like this one by Katrina Julia is the energy you need to propel you forward.
I know. I know. The holidays are busy. BUT, how long do you spend looking through social media? How much time do you spend on a Netflix binge? How long do you spend searching through things you WANT on the internet, longing for something you can't have?
Opportunity is here. Take the time to work on yourself. YOU are worth every bit of time you spend on YOU. When you fill your cup. you have enough to give to all of the other areas and people in your life. If your cup is empty, you cannot do all that you want (or have all that you want...including happiness).
I challenge you to take this opportunity now.
